What format and resolution should I use?
For the best print result, use these specification guidelines:Resolution: 300dpi (Vector preferred)
Images: Embedded
Colour: CMYK & Pantones
Format: Adobe Illustrator PDF / EPS
Fonts: Outlined
Bleed: 3mm
Safe Zone: 2mm
How should I handle colours?
For the best print result, use these specification guidelines:Colour: CMYK (do not use RGB)
Spot colours: PANTONE Solid Coated
Fonts: 100% Black or a spot colour
White Ink: Spot colour called White Ink in a colour (eg: blue/pink)
Colour Matching: Send us a colour sample in the post
Metallic colours: Spot colour called "Gold"
What font size should I use?
For the best print result, use these specification guidelines:Minimum font size: 5pt (very small text can look good on screen but does not print well)
Colour: 100% Black or a Spot colour
Fonts: Outline all fonts
How much bleed should my artwork use?
For the best print result, use these specification guidelines:Bleed: 1.5mm (Print outside cut size)
Safe Zone: 1.5mm (Important information inside label)
How should I show a material finish?
For the best print result, use these specification guidelines:Clear material: Use a spot colour to represent CLEAR MATERIAL
Foil: Use a spot colour to represent FOIL
White: Use a spot colour to represent WHITE INK
Varnish: Use a spot colour to represent GLOSS VARNISH or MATT VARNISH
